Grainy, Oaty and Seedy

There are a couple of bread mixes out there that yield beautiful nutritious loaves of bread. I am, though, experimenting as much as I can for an even more nutritious loaf of bread – because it’s such a staple.
Here’s a tried-and-tested recipe modification for a nutritious loaf of bread. I bake with the Sunbeam ‘Quantum SmartBake’ bread-maker, but this recipe can also work for baking the conventional way.
What you need:
400ml of room-temperature water
A pack of Tip Top Kitchen Collection- Grain Bread Mix (500g)
4 1/2 tablespoons of regular oatmeal
1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds
2 teaspoons of yeast
What to do:
1…Follow the instructions for your bread-maker booklet – particularly the order of ingredients.
2…BEFORE the yeast, add the oatmeal then the sunflower seeds.
3…Bake as usual following the instructions from your bread-maker booklet.
…use the darkest crust setting.
…don’t use the entire sachet of yeast from the Tip Top pack as it actually measures 2 1/2 teaspoons of yeast (and not the required 2 teaspoons).
...you can omit the sunflower seeds if you prefer – it won't affect the outcome of the bread.

I have been doing the Laucke Wholemeal but adding 3/4 cup of mixed diced dried fruit and 2 tablespoons of honey. It makes the bets fruit loaf
