If chocolate doesn’t quite do it for you, and you prefer something creamy and savoury then you’ve got to try some truffle butter! Might sound odd but trust me, it’s exceptionally pleasant on the palate.

A while back, I went to a cooking demonstration by Tetsuya. He started off by demonstrating his black truffle butter recipe. I was so excited! The first time I had it at his restaurant, I tried bribing the host to doggy bag a tub for me – needless to say, it didn’t quite work but he brought out more for our table – post on that Tetsuya experience coming soon…
It’s a really simple recipe requiring only a few ingredients. A key tip from Tetsuya is to use a paddle to mix, not a whisk.
Simply delicious with some freshly baked bread. Mmmm…
